Excellent place to play a few rounds of golf. Great practice facilities and a very accommodating staff. We had the pleasure of playing 2 rounds here today. 1st, we played the Dye course. It was a very nice course and offered a great challenge, which I handled pretty well seeing I have never played this course before. Then we had a nice lunch on site. The lunch menu is not large but it is very delicious. I highly recommend the club sandwich. After lunch, we headed for the Ryder course, which is also a very nice course that is also beautiful and challenging. Again, I was playing well and had a very good round. I also stopped off in the pro shop and checked out the merchandise. Very nice! Again, the staff was very friendly and I was able to find a very nice shirt as a momnto of my visit. Had a wonderful time playing these two beautiful courses. Hope to play the third course next time. It was closed for maintenance this time.
Played the Dye course and WOW was it in wonderful shape. The greens rolled true and the fairways were lush. The starter was a super frindly guy also! When we finished this wonderful round we had luch at he club wich was pretty tasty as well. Ive played all three courses at the PGA in Port Saint Lucie and have to say the Dye is my favorite. Anyone coming to the area for golf book a round you cant go wrong!
Played the Wanamaker Course on 5/27/2023 and it was in amazing shape, one of the best taken care of courses I've ever played, the entire setup at the PGA Village is just awesome.
10/05/2022: We played the Wanamaker course again and it's still very beautiful even after the recent hurricane Ian. It looks like Ian didn't create too much trouble for the course. The greens are fine and run smooth although I would prefer the speed to be a little faster. The newly renovated range is absolutely awesome! The only course that we didn't try is the Ryder course and hope we can play it some time this year.
Circa Oct., 2021: It was our first time at the club and we played the Dye course. The conditions, the layouts, the scenery, etc. all deserve a great rating. Range is also a complimentary which is an added bonus. The Dye course is a semi-link style course which give you a combination of varieties like tree lines, long rough, marsh, water, deep bunkers, etc. With all these, the course is actually not that difficult as long as you strategically place your shots. Avoid get into the long roughs because you're unlikely to find your ball or get out of it. Anyway, it's a well-maintained and fun course. It's worth a 1.5 hr. drive since the course is quiet different from other S. FL courses.
First time player at the Village. Was very impressed with Staff, Bartenders at both the Clubhouse and halfway Shack. Played the Pete Dye Course. Amazing layout and was of course in great shape. Really could’ve used an on course beverage cart. But other than that I’d play again given the chance
This is a beautiful sunset and exactly why I chose to live here and on a golf course. Life does not get much better a this age on the back 9.
We have had the privilege of completing roof repairs in the area and we cannot speak more highly of the residents at PGA! Everyone is extremely helpful and kind. The community helps each other and kindly recommends us to their neighbors. We appreciate working with our local residents here at PGA and helping with all your ROOFING needs!
Great course but very unaccommodating staff. I had a tee time at 10:03 on 9/17, and my interaction with three different staff members was very unpleasant. It started with the pro shop when I was trying to buy a Headcover. The staff was too busy shooting rubber bands at their monitors, to even acknowledge me, or check me out. If you have cameras, you can watch it all happen. Just me standing by while they ignore me. Secondly, we teed off 10 mins late because the course was running behind which was fine. The starter was very nice and let us know how the Ryder course plays while we waited. It poured during the first 9 so everyone was sat off to the side a bit and yet we still made the turn in under 2 hrs from our real start time. The Midway Grille staff wasn’t very nice and the Marshall shooed us out of the grille because we picked up hot dogs and drinks. We finished the round in less than 4 hrs as well. The course was in great condition and a lot of fun. Unfortunately marred by people who obviously don’t want my business in the future.
